Adorning women not only to look their best but also to look gorgeous for various occasions is very much a part of the great African tradition.

However, getting it right in terms of style, color and presentation, requires a certain level of know-how. Over the years, the making and wearing of different kinds of headgear like hats and turbans has virtually been the preserve of the few who had the expertise  on how to make them and even then, only for themselves, without the benefit of making any meaningful economic capital out of it, OCCASIONS has changed all that.

Barely one year and half now, the Occasions Hats and Crafts Centre was established to train women in the art of making hats, and other forms of headgear  not only for their personal use but also to empower them to establish a viable economic venture for themselves: a novelty described as Empowering Women to Make Wealth.

So long as there are occasions to attend, which Ghana has many, women would like to turn up in style and that is what opens the doors wide for the graduates of Occasions Hats and Crafts Centre to capitalize on the skills and knowledge acquired here, to make some money for themselves, even with very little initial capital outlay.
