TALENT EXPOSURE DEVELOPMENT (TED) - Ghana

Talent development and Exposure is an annual Project which seeks less privileged individuals who are talented in Acting, Scriptwriting and Modeling and journalism who will benefit from various levels of scholarship to develop their talent and give them international exposure by facilitating and sponsoring them to attend an international film and media festival in Europe.

MISSION:

To help the less privileged individuals realize their dreams and to develop resource for the Television, Film and Media Industry.

VISION:

To Build a large spectrum of professionally trained and internationally exposed individuals for the development of the Media and Film Industry in Ghana and Nigeria.

TED Ghana 2009 PROCESS AND PROCEDURE

1. On seeing the advertisement, participants are required to send an SMS to the short code 1735 in which further procedures for registration will be stated in the auto reply SMS.
2. The auto-reply will direct participants to pay a registration fee of GHC20 to a designated bank account at any bank branch closest to them.
3. After the payment, with their pay-in-slip the participants are required to call the hotline for their acquisition of registration ID NUMBER with which they would be admitted to the audition centers for the auditions and the competition.
4. It is with this ID NUMBER together with the teller that the participant will allowed into the audition and competition centres.
5. Audition notices would be communicated to the participants via sms, emails or announced on local radio station and television
6. There will be 4 audition centers across the country as follows;

1. Accra ( Greater Accra/ Volta Region/ Eastern Region)
2. Takoradi (Western Region/ Central Region)
3. Tamale (Upper west / Upper east Region)
4. Kumasi (Ashanti Region/ Brong Ahafo region)

7. Audition period will be between the 1st of December and the 15th of December 2009.       
8. At the end of the process a total of 30 people will be selected, 10 for full scholarship and a trip to Europe to attend an international festival and the remaining 20 people will have 50% scholarship to study at the Creative land School Accra.

Benefits

9. 30 people will be selected from the whole entries. (1st,2nd and 3rd place) from all the regions of Ghana
10. 20 people (2nd and 3rd) position from all the regions will have 50% scholarship to study at the CREATIVR LAND SCHOOL OF FILM AND MEDIA ARTS Accra
11. 10 people (1st) position  from all the 10 regions of Ghana will have full scholarships study at  the CREATIVE LAND SCHOOL
12. All selected 30 people will have the opportunity of being one of the 6 persons to qualify for a trip to attend an international film festival in Europe after During the period  of their studies and based on their academic performance
13. The selection would be based on their performance in school.
